Passmoor has overseen our first five WSL games this season, which has seen us return four points, as we look to build on our next phase of progression.
Named First Team Manager, he was delighted with such an honour and looks forward to continue working with the group of staff and players, stating that the core values he has instilled will remain.
“Very privileged and honoured to be part of this Football Club and part of our next scheme to work and develop to progress ourselves in the WSL,” Passmoor explained.

“When I first came in, we set our standards, and nothing will change in terms of the ethos and hard work that we strive for every day. The first season is always about foundations and relationships.
“We’ll progress through the year but as you’ve seen the players have been united and we’re looking forward to working together across the rest of the season.”
The former West Ham United assistant coach went on to talk about the fans, and the importance they have on the city, and the team playing on the pitch.
Passmoor added: “In games, using my experiences, we want to make sure the players are empowered and have an understanding of what it means to work and play for this Club.

“We represent ourselves appropriately on matchdays and want to make sure that the fans have something to cheer about.
“They are our 12th player because of the support they give and it very much unites us all in our challenge this season.”
Hoping that his title change won’t encourage anyone to treat him differently around the building, Passmoor is looking forward to laying the foundations for a successful team, commending the work of his coaching staff that will go into making that a reality.
“It’s about small steps at a time,” the Manager continued. “Taking up this role, there will be more workshops for the staff to make sure that they know we’re together.
His first game as Manager will be at Villa Park this weekend.

“It’s about keeping the focus on the players and making sure they’re ready every day in training because what you do between Monday to Friday translates on a Sunday and delivering the game plan.
“I don’t want to be treated any different. Gone are the days where it is just about a Manager and their assistant; the whole squad and staff have an influence.
“I’m looking forward to work, collaborating with the coaching staff and providing the best information and training as we can to the players which will help them on the pitch.
“This is a proud football club with proud fans. We want to leave a legacy here on the women’s side.”
