In a touching tribute, Beau and Roisin will complete a sponsored dribble around the pitch at Filbert Way during half-time of our Barclays Women’s Super League fixture with West Ham United.
Ten-year-old Roisin, a proud member of the Foxes family and part of our Emerging Talent Centre at Belvoir Drive, will be joined by Beau, Barnaby’s sister.
This event will also honour the memory of Beau’s father, Chris, who sadly passed away within the same year as Barnaby. A double loss that these inspiring young girls are courageously channelling into a memorial garden.
The funds raised will contribute to the creation of The Barnaby Friendship Garden at Barnaby’s school – a lasting space for reflection, friendship, and community. Any additional donations will support the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, which provided care to Barnaby throughout his illness.
Beau’s love for football is something she shared closely with her dad, Chris, who coached her team – with Barnaby proudly serving as his assistant coach. Both were devoted Leicester City supporters, making this weekend’s tribute at King Power Stadium a poignant and fitting celebration of their lives.
Foxes fans wishing to support Beau and Roisin in their inspiring efforts can donate via their official fundraising page HERE.
