It's two consecutive games at King Power Stadium for the Foxes, who welcome the Toffees for Barclays Women's Super League action, having lost out 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

Looking for a second league win of the season, Sunday provides the next opportunity for Rick Passmoor's side, with the backing of the Blue Army behind the squad.

Everton in focus

Ruby Mace will return to Filbert Way this weekend with Everton.

The Toffees are seventh in the standings, one place above Leicester, having also won just once in their opening four outings; that victory coming against Liverpool on the opening day.

Brian Sørensen, who has managed Everton since the summer of 2022, had a busy summer of recruitment which includes two former Foxes in Yuka Momiki and Ruby Mace.

Ornella Vignola is their current top scorer with three goals and the Merseyside outfit will be a challenging test for us as we look for more top flight points.

We're chasing a second league win of the campaign.

Performances have certainly been on the up since an opening day defeat to Manchester United, personified by close encounters with Chelsea and Spurs, with a 5-1 League Cup win against Ipswich Town in between.

Passmoor believes the process and new identity of the team are shining through and now it is just about getting it all to click to turn those defeats into wins.

Jutta Rantala and Noémie Mouchon both featured last time out, and their ever-building match fitness will come as a boost to the former West Ham United Assistant Manager, as he looks to build a winning formula this Sunday.
