Janice Cayman opened the scoring at King Power Stadium, as Hannah Cain scored twice and Sam Tierney found the net in our campaign conclusion to finish with five wins and 20 points; a Club record in the WSL.
There were two changes made to Amandine Miquel's side from the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace a week prior, with Courtney Nevin and Hlín Eiríksdóttir making way for Sophie Howard and Shana Chossenotte.
A captain's goal
The captain broke the deadlock.
At a place that has brought us much success this season, things got off to a flyer for the Foxes on Filbert Way, taking the lead through our captain Cayman, with an outstanding strike.
Arriving on the edge of the box, the 37-year-old Belgian international found the top corner with an excellent finish before Cain added a second 10 minutes before the break, tapping in the rebound after her initial shot was saved by Kinga Szemik.
Cain at the double
Cain scored twice on Filbert Way.
Last weekend's draw with Palace was the first WSL goal of the season for Cain, who has been injured through much of 2024/25, but she increased her tally on the final day with an exceptional performance.
Listed in the central striker position, Cain's first was a perfect example of being on the shoulder of the defender, and her second was no different.
Sent through on goal by Asmita Ale, Cain placed a fine dink over the West Ham 'keeper to round off a double for herself on the scoresheet.
Tierney's stunner leads to record win
Leicester ended the season with a record-high 20 points.
Viviane Asseyi's brace kept the Hammers within touching distance throughout the game but in a contest of impressive finishes, Tierney's takes the pick.
Running onto a ball inside the West Ham half, the midfielder noticed the 'keeper off her line and curled a brilliant effort, from outside the box, into the back of the net.
The fifth win at home confirmed the Foxes' finishing points tally of 20, which is a record for us in the top flight; signing off in style.
