Members of the Blue Army who headed into the city centre were the lucky first to see the maroon shirt in person and then get their hands on our new away colours for the upcoming campaign.

A big screen counted down for the grand reveal in Jubilee Square, as a container kitted out with the new kit opened up and Foxes favourites Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton were invited on stage to give their take on the new threads.

The maroon colour provided the pair with memories of our 2021 FA Cup Final triumph, before stopping by to meet and greet fans, who were then able to have photographs taken with the two legends.

The kit also sees the return our iconic 'Running Fox' crest, featuring on a Leicester City kit for the first time since the 91/92 season and proudly taking centre stage alongside the iconic adidas Originals Trefoil.

Legendary skipper Steve Walsh, a member of the squad that season, was also on hand to sign autographs for supporters, alongside another special guest, former Leicester striker David Nugent.

With gold and cream adidas detailing across the collar, sleeves and shoulders, the shirt contains a subtle pattern inspired by a well-known portrait of King Richard III, weaving together Leicester's rich history and folklore, the significance of which was explained by Club Historian John Hutchinson at the event.

Alongside the Away Kit, our new Originals Collection landed too, headlined by the matching Leicester City adidas Spezial trainer – also for sale at Summer on the Square.

For those who missed out, you can now pre-order at LCFC.com/Shop. Orders placed before 11:59pm on Friday 24 July will guarantee collection or delivery on Friday 31 July. Your order will be dispatched in line with your chosen delivery method.

The full adidas Away Kit and Originals collection will be available online and in store from 9:30am on Friday 31 July.

Please note, once a shirt has been personalised, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange. The same applies if a player was to leave the club or their squad number changes during their career at Leicester City.
