It’s a lunchtime 12:30pm GMT kick-off for the Foxes against Valérien Ismaël’s Rovers, who come into the clash on the back of a morale-boosting victory over Southampton.
City, on the other hand, have suffered successive defeats to Hull City and Millwall on the road, but returning to Filbert Way – where they remain unbeaten – is a plus for Martí Cifuentes’ men.
James has scored two goals since confirming his season-loan loan with the Foxes on Deadline Day at the end of August. The ambition now, though, is to build on that progress, continue contributing to the team, and help fire Leicester up the Sky Bet Championship table.
“I’ll be honest, I couldn’t have asked for much better,” our No.6 said this week, inside the upcoming issue of CITY Matchday Magazine.

“I think when you go to a new club, what you want to do is stamp down your position and what you want to achieve. I feel like I’ve done that. My aim now is to keep on doing that and hopefully, as a team, we can improve and get to where we want to get to.
“[Scoring a first goal against Wrexham AFC] was a really good moment for me and my family. When you go to a new club there’s always that pressure on getting your first goal.
“To get that quite early, and at home, it meant a lot to me. In front of our fans too, it was a really important moment. Hopefully there’s many more to come.”
It’s Blackburn next, however, and James is eager to put on a good performance for the Blue Army, after two frustrating away days saw us drop to 10th in the standings.
“Obviously it’s a home game,” he added. “I feel like we’re favourites to win so we need to go out there and show what we’re capable of. Hopefully that can start a good run before the international break.”
