The international break concluded in excellent fashion for Denmark who, after beating Northern Ireland on Saturday, glided past the 143rd ranked team in the world, Lithuania, in friendly action.
Leicester City defender Vestergaard played the full game, keeping a clean sheet, as Christian Eriksen and Kasper Dolberg were among the scorers in a 5-0 win in Odense.
Edgaras Utkas’ dismissal half-an-hour in made it a difficult night for the travelling side, but it was a good confidence booster for the Danes, who now head into the summer break before rejoining back up again in September for World Cup qualification games.

Having scored early on in the first fixture, a 1-1 draw with Senegal, the scores once again ended level, this time a stalemate at Stade de Luxembourg, but nonetheless, it was valuable experience on the international stage for our Academy graduate.
Finally, Hamza Choudhury was named in the Bangladesh starting line-up and played 90 minutes in a 2-1 reverse to Singapore in an AFC Asian Cup qualification match; this result leaves them third in Group C with one point after two games.
