The young Foxes got back to winning ways on the road, recording a first win in eight in Wales following a difficult run of form across several competitions.
It was in fact the hosts who took the lead just 10 minutes into the clash, courtesy of Jake Davies' goal, but Leicester drew level from the penalty spot; Lorenz Hutchinson converting it.
Into the second period, City winger Joseph Corden stepped up, putting us in front for the first time with his first goal on 69 minutes and completing a brace three minutes later to make the game safe.
A second win in the competition, having also beaten Plymouth Argyle in our opening fixture prior to defeat to AFC Bournemouth, sees us go top of Group B with our next match the return leg against the Pilgrims at Home Park on Monday 16 November (7pm kick-off).
There's plenty to play for before then, with a quick turnaround to our Under-21s' next outing on Tuesday night. Away to Woking, it's a 7:45pm kick-off at Laithwaite Community Stadium.
