A second successive win for the side coached by Adam Barradell, following victory over Crystal Palace, it took 34 minutes for our youngsters to go in front at The Knighthead Training and Academy Grounds.
Captain Lorenz Hutchinson struck that opener, prior to Hugo de Lisle's first of the game coming just before the break, doubling our lead over the Midlands side in the process.
The midfielder completed a brace ahead of the hour mark and Maxwell Adedeji soon completed the rout from the penalty spot to seal all three points.
Now sitting on 30 points from 19 matches, it's an away fixture against Ipswich Town up next on Saturday 7 March, a 12:30pm GMT kick-off at Ipswich Town Training Centre.
The details...
City: Stretton, Simons, Sutherington (Diallo 45'), Adedeji, Toko, Manyumba (Aideed 72'), Owusu, Carr (Corden 45'), Lawrence, de Lisle (Boothe 78'), Hutchinson (c).
Subs not used: Marson.
Goals: Hutchinson 34', de Lisle 44', 57', Adedeji (pen) 68'.
