The Foxes youngsters recorded back-to-back successes either side of Christmas, having signed off for 2025 with a 6-3 triumph at Norwich City, before the weekend's win at Sobha Realty Training Centre.
Taking the lead in Shenley, Lorenz Hutchinson netted a 21st-minute opener, pouncing on a defensive error to continue his fine form in front of goal. The forward has 13 goals and three assists in just 11 league matches so far this term.
The hosts hit back with just over 20 minutes to play, however, when Kyran Thompson found Ceadach O’Neill in the box, and the midfielder finished into the top corner to level the scores.
With the game seemingly heading for a stalemate, we snatched all three points in injury time, as Hugo de Lisle fired his strike into the roof of the net, finishing off a deadly counter-attack.
The side coached by Adam Barradell are now up to third in the standings, two points behind leaders Chelsea, who City host at LCFC Training Ground on Saturday (12pm GMT kick-off).
