The Foxes youngsters headed into the final Premier League 2 clash of the regular season already assured of a play-off place and ended on a high thanks to an away win at LNER Community Stadium.
It was the Whites who took the lead on 20 minutes courtesy of Samuel Alker's sharp left-footed strike inside the box, but Louis Page ensured we'd go in at the break back on level terms, driving forward before applying an equally impressive finish from 25 yards out.
Kirsten Otchere then edged the Foxes ahead early in the second half, emphatically planting the ball into the roof of the net from Logan Briggs' cutback, only for Alker's second of the game 10 minutes later restoring parity, squeezing one in at the back post.
It looked to be headed for a point apiece until the second minute of injury time, when Otchere popped up to complete his brace, again from a Briggs assist, allowing the forward to slide in from close range and meet his low cross to secure three points for the side coached by Leon McSweeney.
The result means we finish ninth in the final PL2 standings, having collected 31 points from the 20 matches and await our opponents in the last-16 stage of the play-offs, which will be an away tie against the side who finishes eighth.
