The young Foxes, who overcame Norwich City in our last Premier League 2 home fixture in Seagrave, were behind on 37 minutes when Chido Obi opened the scoring.

Four minutes later, the scores were levelled. Lorenz Hutchinson continued his fine form in front of goal with an equaliser, emphatically sending a first-time finish into the roof of the net from Mirsad Ali's low cross, but Obi would ensure United went in at the break ahead.

With a quarter of an hour to go, Reiss Khela was shown a second yellow card and with City down to 10 men, Man Utd took advantage. The 18-year-old completed his hat-trick with two minutes of normal time to play.

And there was enough time for a fourth from the visitors in stoppage-time, again scored by Obi.

It leaves the side coached by Leon McSweeney 11th in the PL2 standings, on 24 points from 16 matches, ahead of hosting Newcastle United on Monday 9 March (7pm GMT kick-off).
