The Foxes youngsters reached the quarter-finals of the Plate competition
One win and two defeats in the group stage saw City enter the Plate

Hong Kong Football Club was the setting for the seven-a-side tournament in South East Asia, an annual event which this year saw City drawn into Group B alongside three other teams.
Taking a 10-man strong squad which included five debutants at the competition, Leicester beat Hong Kong China Under-22 3-0 in the opening game, before a 1-0 defeat to Hong Kong Football Club, setting up a winner takes all clash against Dutch opposition in match three.
The 3-1 reverse against AZ Alkmaar in our final group fixture saw the Foxes move into the Plate competition, having collected three points from a possible nine.
Facing BC Rangers in the quarter-final, where games move to 10 minutes a half, rather than seven in the group stage, a close encounter finished 1-0 to the Hong Kong outfit, bringing to an end the young Foxes’ involvement in the tournament, but with valuable experiences under their belt.
