Joel Ndala opened the scoring for Forest after just 16 minutes at Loughborough University Stadium, before Jack Perkins doubled the home side's advantage with three minutes of the first half to play.
Before the 0-0 draw with West Bromwich Albion earlier this month, the young Foxes had won five on the bounce to qualify for the end of season play-offs in Premier League 2.
In the play-offs, sides will be drawn based on their league positions, with the team finishing first facing those who finished 16th, second vs. 15th and so on, with the higher-seeded team at home.
This result in Loughborough, mind you, means we finish 10th in the PL2 standings, with nine wins and four draws earning 31 points.
