Having beaten Reading on the road last time out, prior to a narrow U18 PL Cup defeat at Newcastle United, the young Foxes returned to league action in Seagrave, facing the Hammers. Making a strong start at LCFC Training Ground, Lorenz Hutchinson, assisted by Riley Carr, broke the deadlock inside the opening quarter of an hour, before Joseph Corden doubled our advantage prior to the break with a strike from inside the area.
Joseph Corden netted the second of the game.
The east London outfit pulled one back soon after half-time, however, courtesy of Andre Dike's goal, but the Foxes youngsters soon re-established that two-goal cushion through Bismark Owusu, who found the bottom corner after being teed up by Hutchinson.
Now sitting sixth in the early standings, on six points from the opening three games, Aston Villa are next up at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground, with City facing the Villans after the international break, on Saturday 13 September (11am BST kick-off).
