Having impressively beaten Charlton Athletic 5-0 in midweek, the young Foxes triumphed once again in the PL Cup, rounding off the campaign with six Group B points to finish third, although it wasn't enough to qualify for the knockout stages.

After a goalless first half at LCFC Training Ground, Jake Evans set up Amani Richards to break the deadlock just before the hour mark, shifting the ball onto his left and firing an effort into the roof of the net.

Alfie Fisken then found space through the middle, feeding Kirsten Otchere, whose composed, clipped finish doubled our advantage.

Smashing home the third.

Laolu Omobolaji rounded off the scoring in sensational style late on, picking the ball up inside his own half and driving forward before planting it in the bottom corner.

Premier League 2 action resumes in the New Year, travelling to face Everton on Friday 9 January (7pm GMT kick-off).
