Draw made for 2025/26 National League Cup
Under-21s to compete against senior non-league opposition
Foxes drawn in Group B of the competition
Our young Foxes are joined in Group B by fellow Premier League 2 clubs Nottingham Forest, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers, alongside senior sides Braintree Town, Brackley Town, Forest Green Rovers and Wealdstone.
Now in its second season in this format, the National League Cup brings together 16 Category One Under-21 teams and 16 senior clubs from the National League system. Each group includes four U21 sides and four senior teams, with U21 teams facing only the senior opposition during the group stage.
We will therefore play four away fixtures in the Group Stage - one against each of the senior clubs in Group B - with the top two teams in each group progressing to the quarter-finals.
The competition is designed to provide young players with valuable senior-level experience, while supporting non-league clubs through competitive fixtures.
Fixture details, including dates and venues for all Group B ties, will be confirmed in due course.
