LCFC Women to face Charlton Athletic in WSL Play-Off this Saturday (12:30pm BST kick-off)
The fixture will be played at The Valley, with tickets still available Manager Rick Passmoor provided a squad update heading into the final day
After finishing bottom of the WSL, our season has been extended by a week to compete against Charlton, this year's third-placed team in WSL2, in a winner-takes-all match which will determine our fate next year.
Heading into our biggest game of the season, our Manager has spoken to the media to provide a fitness update, admitting that Lehmann's calf injury will prevent her from being involved, while Leitzig has resumed full contact training.
"Unfortunately Alisha [Lehmann] is not unavailable," the Manager announced. "Her calf injury is more serious than we thought so she won't be in the squad this weekend.
"Other than that, the rest of the squad is fit. Ash [Neville] is back after suspension and Jani [Leitzig] was back in first team training today.
"We have a great goalkeeping department, with three very good 'keepers, and we'll make the choice, between the two available, about who will play on Saturday."
