It's been four weeks since the Foxes were last in action, beaten by league leaders Manchester City before the first international fixtures of 2026 arrived on the calendar.
A positive break for our internationals, both Hannah Cain and Alisha Lehmann found the net in FIFA World Cup qualifiers, while Emily van Egmond remains with Australia, who have reached the quarter-finals of the AFC Asian Cup.
Focusing back on league duties, here is how both sides are shaping up, and how you can follow the action, both in person and from home...
Liverpool in focus
The Reds' form has improved over recent weeks.
The Reds' form has improved over recent weeks.
It took seven games for Liverpool to pick up their first point of the season, following a slow start for Gareth Taylor's side, but have since turned things around with a resurgence up the league.
Winning two of their last four in the league has picked them up from bottom spot, before a Merseyside derby win over Everton in the Adobe Women's FA Cup.
Just one point ahead of Leicester, a win for either side could be pivotal in the fight for survival, with Beata Olsson one to watch out for this weekend - the Reds' top scorer with six.
The Foxes camp

It's not been a great start to 2026 for Leicester, who are still on the lookout for our first points of the calendar year with defeats to Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Manchester United and most recently, Man City.
But Manager Rick Passmoor would've welcomed the break to reset his team, helping the new recruits such as Ashleigh Neville and Emma Jansson to settle in, while welcoming back those from international duty after a positive break for our players.
Shannon O'Brien remains our top scorer with three this term, but as the lowest scoring team in the division, the Foxes will be hoping that Cain and Lehmann, who scored four goals between them on international duty, bring that form back to the Club.
