Supporters who purchased tickets from the original venue will receive a full refund automatically to their original payment method. Those wishing to attend the game at Banús Football Center will need to purchase a new ticket for the fixture, with details available below.

We are sorry that, despite extensive work with Málaga CF and the organisers, it has not been possible to find a solution that would enable tickets already purchased for the original venue to remain valid. We recognise the additional inconvenience this causes supporters who have already made arrangements to attend the game and apologise for the short notice.

The fixture had originally been scheduled to take place at Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras, where we faced Cádiz CF on Wednesday evening.

Following that fixture, both Leicester City and Cádiz raised concerns about the condition of the playing surface. With player safety and preparations for the new season in mind, we have since been working extensively with Málaga CF and the organisers to identify a suitable alternative venue for Saturday’s game.

The fixture will therefore move to Banús Football Center in Marbella, enabling the game to go ahead safely and in front of supporters who have made the journey to Spain.

The scheduled kick-off time remains unchanged at 7pm local time (6pm UK time), while Saturday’s game will continue to be streamed live on Foxes Hub.

Tickets purchased for the fixture at Estadio Nuevo Mirador will not be valid at Banús Football Center.

All supporters who purchased a ticket from the original venue will receive a full refund automatically to their original payment method. Please contact help@lcfc.co.uk with any questions.

Supporters wishing to attend Saturday’s game at Banús Football Center will therefore need to purchase a new ticket for the fixture.

Supporters attending the fixture are reminded to travel to Banús Football Center in Marbella and not Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras.

GETTING TO BANÚS FOOTBALL CENTER

Banús Football Center is located in the Marbella area, close to Puerto Banús on the Costa del Sol.

The venue is approximately a one-hour drive from the original venue, Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras, and around 40 minutes by car from Málaga Airport.

Supporters are encouraged to review their existing travel arrangements and allow additional time for their journey on Saturday.

BY CAR

Supporters travelling by car should enter Banús Football Center into their satellite navigation and are advised to allow additional time for their journey.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Supporters travelling by public transport are advised to check their journeys in advance following the change of venue.

Regional coach services operate to Marbella from locations including Algeciras, Málaga and Málaga Airport, while local bus services connect Marbella with Puerto Banús and the surrounding area.

Supporters can find further information through the Marbella City Council transport information and Avanza websites.

Please check the latest timetables directly with transport operators before setting off.
