Man City lead the rest of the pack at the top of the WSL table, sitting 30 points above LCFC Women, who are at the foot of the table after last weekend’s results.
Previewing the game at Joie Stadium, the Manager believes it is fine tuning that will make the difference come the end of the season...
‘Change the narrative’

City lost out to Man Utd last weekend.
Last weekend’s loss to Manchester United, as the bottom three all picked up victories, changed the tide in the current standings.
Admitting that the Foxes must start picking up points, Passmoor urged his side to avoid the outside noise and focus on the controllables.
“What you’ve got to do is change the narrative,” he opened by saying. “The games we’ve played, we’ve been improving, but we have to keep improving.
“At one end, be more resilient and at the other end, take your opportunities. Some decisions went against us on Saturday, but there has been improvement.
“Now we’re heading into the business side, we need to be picking up points. Where we are, we need to be achieving this in the next few games.
“The bottom four will always swing and become a carousel, so therefore we need to make sure we are at our best every time, to achieve the points we think we’ll require to stay within the league.
“When we came in, in September, we knew it would be a challenge, it was always long term, our project. It’s about finishing as high as we can in that table of four.
“We need to keep believing in the process and don’t listen to the outside noise.”
‘Players fighting for places’

Passmoor spoke on the impact the five new Foxes have made.
We added five new faces to the squad during the winter transfer window, with the latest, Alisha Lehmann, making her full debut last time out on Filbert Way.
Speaking on the positive impact that those players have made, the former West Ham United Assistant Manager believes it is creating necessary competition within the squad for starting places.
“In the first part of the season, with the players available, we did what we could,” he continued. Now, when we’ve brought in extra players, it gives you an opportunity to change the starting line-up when you see fit.
“The players then have the chance to fight for their spot. When I spoke to Shannon O’Brien at the weekend, she was disappointed not to start but came onto the pitch with an excellent attitude and contributed massively.
“We’ve now got players around the building that are challenging and fighting for that place so it's good to have that competitive element.
“When you look at the facts, we have to be better in the final third and when you look at the opportunities, it’s execution.
“Sometimes we rush the shot when we could have another shot or pass and it’s about hitting the target, and for others to react if it comes off the bar or if the ‘keeper saves it.
“We’re aware (of the attacking problems), but we’re a group and we understand that we need to be better for those 100 minutes.”
‘We need to stay focused’
Staying focused on us.
Staying focused on us.
A point behind Everton, with one game in hand, the Manager understands the need to stay focused in this business end of the season.
With a lot still to play for, Passmoor hopes that this week the Foxes can continue their improvement on the football pitch.
“I’m really proud of the forward steps they are making as a group,” he continued. “We go back to last weekend, and if we get a penalty, that it goes 1-1 and it’s a different game.
“We had that spell in the second half where we were on top, had the possession and were chasing the game.
“You have to reflect on those moments and think, we were playing a team four unbeaten and playing in Europe, and know we are going in the right direction.
“Right now we’re frustrated to not be adding those points, but we must take pride in how we played and worked together as one against the top four or five.
“We’ve got to ensure the players stay focused and improve on parts of our game. What we’re looking forward to is turning these performances into points.”
