We’re back on Filbert Way after three consecutive away games, taking on newly-promoted opposition again, after last weekend’s 1-0 win at Charlton Athletic.

Captain Ricardo Pereira’s return from the bench in the capital was good news for the Foxes, while Mavididi sat that one out, but our No.10 could be in line for a return soon.

“[There are] no new injuries,” Cifuentes told the media on Thursday, just over 24 hours before Friday’s 8pm BST kick-off.

“Luckily for us, Stephy has been training this week and looks ready. [Ricardo] has been training very well. I’m very happy with his minutes at Charlton. He gave us something extra. He’s looking good.

It’s an interesting game. I understand Birmingham has had a positive start so they have confidence but it’s on us to start the game on our terms."
