  • Bilal El Khannouss started for the hosts as the Atlas Lions beat Cameroon
  • Mali were knocked out of the competition by Senegal, with Woyo Coulibaly suspended
The host nation scored once in each half at Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah, courtesy of Brahim Diaz and Ismael Saibari, to secure a safe passage into the semi-finals.
El Khannouss, currently on loan at Stuttgart, played 68 minutes in Rabat and they'll now face either Algeria or Nigeria at the same venue next Wednesday (8pm kick-off).
Mali, meanwhile, were knocked out at the same stage of the competition, losing out 1-0 to Senegal, though on-loan City defender Woyo Coulibaly was suspended for the clash at Grand Stade de Tanger.
