LCFC Women face Chelsea on Saturday afternoon (12pm GMT kick-off)
The Foxes will play their final fixture of 2024 at King Power Stadium
We are very likely to see Shannon O'Brien back for the Chelsea game, says the Manager
Ahead of a final outing in 2024, the Manager provided a mixed fitness update at Belvoir Drive, confirming a few absentees are struggling with minor injuries, but gave a positive boost about City's No. 27.
Miquel also confirmed that CJ Bott picked up a muscle injury during Wednesday's Women's League Cup win over Birmingham City - minutes after scoring her first Club goal. Bott scored her first Leicester goal on Wednesday evening.
"Maybe one more, we'll have someone back," she hinted to the media. "On the players absent, Shana Chossenotte is out with a injury that comes and goes, so we're resting it a bit longer. "CJ Bott, we'll see during the night how she does. We have to monitor her further; I think it's her calf so we'll have to wait and see with her and if she'll be ready."
Ending on a positive, the Foxes faithful may be rewarded with the first appearance of the season for winger O'Brien this weekend, when the league leaders make the trip to Filbert Way. "We are very likely to see Shannon [O'Brien] back for the Chelsea game, so that's one very good positive in terms of injuries and player's returning."
