Becoming a fan during the 14/15 Premier League promotion season, Chuck is based in Stillwater, Oklahoma, a town of about 50,000 people, with Oklahoma City and Tulsa both located about an hour's drive to the south and east.
Describing himself as ‘a fierce ambassador for the Club’, Chuck also discovered an interesting family connection to the city which led to his love of the Foxes growing ever stronger.
“The group is small but mighty,” he told us. “It’s mostly just a few of my friends from here in the middle of the States whom I've successfully recruited to the Blue Army.
“I felt like forming a group gave me the best shot at spreading the word about the Foxes and English soccer in general.
“My grandfather was passionate about genealogy, and his research suggested that our surname likely originated there, so I felt an instant deep connection to the team.”
Often following matches from home or joined by his friends at the local alehouse, Chuck outlined his plans to watch a City game in person in the future.
“I had played soccer when I was younger, but lost touch with the game,” he explained. “I'm loosely a Houston Dynamo fan, but I don't follow MLS all that closely.
“Especially since opportunities to watch on TV were very limited here, I was largely unaware of the Foxes. That all changed in 2014 when we were promoted.
“The new TV contract meant I had the chance to see them play all the time. Most game-watching happens at my house, although there is also a local bar called Finnegan's Fighting Goat that is a true soccer pub.
“I have never been to King Power Stadium for a game and never met a player, but it is a huge bucket list item! The easy answer to who my favourite player is, is [Jamie] Vardy, but actually, I might go with [Christian] Fuchs because he seemed like a really fun guy as well as an underrated part of our success.”
