This year's competition comes from Morocco, with the host nation kicking off the tournament with a 2-0 win over Comoros in Group A.
On Monday afternoon, Zambia were included in the second fixture and they faced the last team making up the group, Mali. Daka led the line, and was up against Leicester loanee, Woyo Coulibaly, who played 90 minutes at right-back for the home side.

The scores were goalless at half-time, although Willard Mwanza, in goal for Chipolopolo, made a fantastic penalty save, getting down to his bottom left to turn behind El Bilal Touré's effort just before the break.
Mali did take in the lead just after the hour mark through Lassine Sinayoko, and looked good for the three points, until Daka, with a clever run into the box, managed to break the offside line, and direct a header goalwards to salvage a point for his country.
Earning one point from their first game, Zambia's attention now turns to Group A's bottom placed team, Comoros, who they will face on Boxing Day (5:30pm GMT kick-off) at Stade Mohammed V.
