Leicester returned to winning ways midweek when they saw off the advances of Birmingham City in the Women's League Cup, scoring five in Nottinghamshire.
Although it wasn't enough to ensure passage to the next stage of the competition, Rose believes there are plenty of positives to take from the performance, which saw her assist three goals.
"It was a great team performance and I'm happy that we scored five," the winger said. "We're disappointed to concede two, but yes, it was a good performance that we can build on.

"It breaks the ice a little bit for the team, and gives the team confidence when the plan and process comes to fruition. It always feels good.
"It was exciting, I had some good service from my team-mates which makes it easier so pleased to be involved so much."
Admitting that it is frustrating to head out of the cup, having not been beaten in 90 minutes, the former Reading player states that this is what can happen in this competition, but looks forward to returning to Barclays Women's Super League action this weekend for the visit of Chelsea.
"It's football and that's how these competitions work," Rose admitted. "It's unfortunate to go out, but as I said, it's good to score five goals, and there's positives to take.

"We need to take confidence with us into the weekend to put us into a good position. Chelsea are a top opposition with some of the world's best players.
"It will be a difficult challenge, but we need to keep implementing what we've been working on in training and keeping that same attitude and energy.
"Every time we play at home, the fans are amazing so we're excited to see out the year with them."
