Two first half goals from the hosts set the tone at Leigh Sports Village, but the Red Devils win wasn’t without its doubt, following a much improved second half performance from the Foxes.
Frustrated with how the game began, Ale believes there are certainly positives to take, after a beneficial half-time talk.
“We were very disappointed in the way we started the game,” Ale announced. “We weren’t on it and they were much more on it but coming out in the second half, the team talk boosted everyone, we made a change and that really helped.

“We started playing with much more aggression and that certainly helped so we need to take this forward with us.
“We watched a few clips as we do, we watched some in possession clips and saw some good things we did but mostly we saw that we weren’t playing the high press like we wanted to as you saw in the second half.
“We created more chances and put more pressure on Man Utd but unfortunately couldn’t take them today.”
Getting much more of a consistent run in the team since the start of the New Year, Ale is thriving in the environment and hopes that can continue.
“I feel much more comfortable now that I’ve been playing more consistently,” the defender continued. “Before I used to get more nervous, but now getting more games under my belt, it’s been good.
“But I need to keep working hard because there’s a lot of competition in the team and I’m never going to take it for granted.”

Up next for Leicester is an away test against league leaders Chelsea, on Wednesday evening at Kingsmeadow (7:30pm GMT kick-off).
Understanding the game will be no easy task, the former Tottenham Hotspur defender urges her side to be on the top of their game, should they want to replicate December’s accomplishment.
“We need to be a lot more prepared for this one against Chelsea,” Ale explained. “They’re going to be disappointed with the draw last time out, so they’ll be wanting to win.
“But we’re up for it too so I think it will be a really good game. We just need to stay focused and positive and take what we did well in this game into the next one.
“We’ll make sure all of the players are fully recovered. That’s the important thing because it’s only a few days and we need to have the whole squad available and ready.
“We need to take what we did well and improve on the other areas.”
