  • Gary Rowett says Leicester City have no new injury issues
  • We travel to Watford in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday (3pm GMT kick-off)
  • Jannik Vestergaard, Aaron Ramsey and Harry Souttar have trained in recent weeks, but are not expected to be involved
  • Asmir Begovic is another player working towards his return to action
Centre-backs Jannik Vestergaard and Harry Souttar, plus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, have joined training in Seagrave over recent weeks, while others – including goalkeeper Asmir Begovic – are also working towards their returns from injury.
“I think we’re pretty much as we were,” the Manager said on Thursday. “We’ve had Jannik and Harry Souttar training in parts of sessions on certain days.
“We’re still trying to manage them for different reasons. I don’t anticipate either of those will be involved. Particularly Souts, who has been out for a long time. There's definitely no chance of that.
Jannik Vestergaard is hoping to return to action in the near future.

“Jannik is a conversation but I still don’t think he’s quite ready. I’ll have a chat with him tomorrow. We don’t have any fresh injuries. I would imagine after the international break it’ll be stronger conversation.
“We’ve gone from trying to get people on the bench, for parts of the game, so the bench looks a little stronger... Now we can make slightly better, informed decisions on what the player needs and what the team needs."
Ramsey, on the other hand, has been ill this week, which means he’s more likely to be involved after the upcoming international break, while Begovic is another player not expected back until the domestic football resumes in early April.

“[Ramsey] might have been available for the weekend,” Rowett added. “That was the plan, for some part.
“But he’s been ill for a couple of days this week. It’s probably tipped him over the edge of not being involved. After the international break, I’d imagine he won’t be million miles away.
“Asmir is making good progress. With a strong prevailing wind, he might be not a million miles away after the international break, or one or two games into the international break.
"You'd rather have those decisions to make on a fairly full squad. People still have to be fit enough to be able to contribute in the way we need them too.”
