Contributions from fans at Sunday’s game against Brighton & Hove Albion were collected and sorted by the City pair at King Power Stadium before being delivered to a food bank at St Andrews Play Association, just a short distance from Filbert Way.
Earlier this month, the Club and its charitable arm, Leicester City in the Community, teamed up with Samworth Brothers and FareShare Midlands to help those in need across the city and county during the festivities.

The game at home to Brighton last weekend, as well as LCFC Women’s upcoming fixture against Chelsea on Saturday 14 December (12pm GMT kick-off) are dedicated to the Festive Charity Drive, allowing supporters the opportunity to donate food items on matchdays.
Donations will go directly to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, helping to ensure a brighter Christmas for many.
Winks said: "It’s heartwarming to see the generosity of our fans and to be part of an effort that will make a real difference. Christmas is a time for giving, and we’re proud to do our bit to help the community.
"This is what Leicester City is all about - supporting our community and coming together as one. The work being done here at St Andrews Play Association is incredible, and these donations will have a great impact.”

Each week, FareShare Midlands distribute food to local charities and community organisations, helping more than 5,000 people through food banks and providing the equivalent of 900,000 meals across the city since November 2023.
The Club extends its heartfelt gratitude to all supporters who contributed to the collection against Brighton and encourages as many fans as possible to donate food items at this weekend’s Women’s Super League clash with Chelsea.
