Wilfred Ndidi, who helped Nigeria overcome Seychelles on Friday, earned his 24th cap as the Super Eagles beat Egypt.
The 22-year-old midfielder played the full game as Paul Onuachu’s first-minute goal gave the Nigerians victory.
On the same evening, Denmark produced a stunning comeback against Switzerland, scoring three goals in the final six minutes to earn a draw.
City No.1 and Danish Player of the Year Kasper Schmeichel played 90 minutes as Henrik Dalsgaard’s late goal earned Denmark a point in the 2020 UEFA European Championships qualifier.
