Taking steps to become a more autism-friendly organisation, Leicester City will introduce a Sensory Hour in the Foxes Fanstore at King Power Stadium on the first Friday of every month.

- Leicester City committed to becoming more autism-friendly
- Sensory Hour to take place at Foxes Fanstore on first Friday of every month
- Initiative is supported by more than 8,000 UK retailers and service providers

The Sensory Hour will launch at the Foxes Fanstore on Friday 2 August and will be an allocated hour for people living with autism, their families and carers to have a break from overwhelming noise and bright lights – the common barriers people living with autism face when accessing shops and facilities.

As part of the hour, which will take place from 10am-11am each month, the Foxes Fanstore will lower its music and other background noises and dim its lights where it is safe to do so to create a shopping environment that is more comfortable for people living with autism, their families and carers.

In addition, Leicester City staff have taken part in autism awareness training with Autism East Midlands to be able to give every customer a positive experience.
