Under its new name, Leicester City in the Community continues to work tirelessly in close partnership with valued local partners to improve the lives of people across Leicestershire.
With a new strategy to engage, inspire and empower people from all corners of the region, Leicester City in the Community's first Community Hub is situated right at the heart of daily life on Filbert Way.
Chilwell, an Academy graduate who has risen to become an established England star, was delighted to help the Club's charitable arm unveil the first of several Community Hubs with participants and staff alike.
Speaking at the launch event, the 22-year-old left-back told LCFC TV: "I'm really enjoying coming out and getting to see the community and what they get up to because we don’t get to see a lot of it.
Just looking at the pictures around the side, it seems like a very good community and Leicester is known to be a community club, so it’s good to see that that is the case.

"We’re in our little bubble at the training ground and we’re very focused on our jobs, which is obviously the priority, but it’s nice to come down and see what the local community’s up to.
"The stuff they’re doing here is great. I was just talking to a few of the youngsters about their Young Leaders stuff they take on at school and it’s just wicked to see young people so involved.

Chilwell spoke to the audience and learned about the work done by Leicester City in the Community.
Speaking at King Power Stadium, a hive of activity with free activities and giveaways, Tripney also explained how valued the relationship is between Leicester City in the Community and the Club itself.
"We changed our name back on 1 August to reflect our new strategy and our new way of working," she said. "Leicester City in the Community [is an] independent registered charity that works incredibly closely with our partner club, Leicester City Football Club to connect our club with our communities.
"We do that through the delivery of education programmes, community engagement programmes, obviously at the heart of our strategy… health and wellbeing. Then, inclusive practice, so something for everyone and football development run throughout.
It provides us with a platform to engage and enthuse. The brand and the awareness of the brand is massive and we feel that we can really utilise that – as we should – to support our local communities.
