More on this story...

- LCFC Women will host Manchester City on 27 September
- Game to be held behind-closed-doors at Farley Way Stadium
- Foxes are in the last eight of the Women’s FA Cup for the first time in their history

Originally scheduled for March this year, the fixture was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but will now be played later this month at Farley Way Stadium in Quorn.

The Foxes – who recently turned professional ahead of the new 2020/21 FA Women’s Championship season – have beaten Burnley and Reading so far in this competition and will now take on Women’s Super League opposition for a place in the last four.

This is the furthest Leicester have ever gone in the Women’s FA Cup, with Paige Bailey-Gayle’s spectacular brace against Reading in February earning City a 2-1 extra-time win.

The match will be played behind-closed-doors and, therefore, any supporters who have not yet received a refund for tickets purchased for the original fixture will be contacted directly.

All times BST.
