Europa League Round Of 32 Draw: Everything You Need To Know

Leicester City will compete in the UEFA Europa League's Round of 32 for the first time in the early months of 2021.

- Next UEFA Europa League draw to take place on Monday 14 December
- Leicester City qualified for the Round of 32 after finishing first in Group G
- Eight teams will transfer into the competition from the UEFA Champions League
- Two-legged ties will take place over 18 February and 25 February, 2021

The Foxes qualified after a first-placed finish in Group G, a maiden group stage campaign which included victories over SC Braga, Zorya Luhansk and AEK Athens.

Over the coming days, meanwhile, the Blue Army will discover who Brendan Rodgers' men will face in the first knockout phase of the competition.

When does the draw take place?

The Round of 32 draw is scheduled to take place at 12pm on Monday 14 December at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Blue Army will be able to discover who the Foxes will face by checking back to LCFC.com and @LCFC on social media.

Which teams will be involved?

Twelve group winners and 12 runners-up from the UEFA Europa League group stage, plus eight teams transferring from the UEFA Champions League, will populate the Round of 32 draw.

All UEL group winners will be seeded in the draw, along with four of the teams arriving from the UCL who possess the best records in their own group stage campaigns.

How does the draw work?

Seeding teams will play at home in their second leg ties, while no team can play a club from their UEFA Europa League group, nor can they meet a team from their own country.

When will the games take place?

The UEFA Europa League's Round of 32 first leg ties are scheduled for Thursday 18 February, 2021, while second leg encounters will take place on Thursday 25 February, 2021.

Kick-off times will be split between 5:55pm and 8pm.
