Goals from Wes Morgan, Chris Wood, Ignasi Miquel and Lloyd Dyer sent Leicester City into the quarter-finals of the League Cup with a 4-3 success over Fulham in October 2013.
City, on a nine-game unbeaten run at home in the Sky Bet Championship, were coming up against Martin Jol's Premier League outfit after beating Wycombe Wanderers, Carlisle United and Derby County.
On 18 minutes, the top-flight Cottagers took the lead on Filbert Way as John Arne Riise slipped the ball across the area for Hugo Rodallega to make a simple finish into Kasper Schmeichel's net.
The Foxes, though, rallied and were in the ascendancy at the break as Maarten Stekelenburg fumbled Anthony Knockaert's free-kick into the path of Morgan, before Wood's composed effort.
On 53 minutes, it got better for Nigel Pearson's promotion hunters, as Danny Drinkwater crossed in for Miquel - on loan from Arsenal - to head home Leicester's third of the night.
Rodallega's second of the night, almost straight from the restart, elevated a sense of tension on Filbert Way and it was justified when, with three minutes to go, Giorgos Karagounis' free-kick made it 3-3.
With just 60 seconds remaining, though, late substitutes Jamie Vardy and David Nugent combined before the latter located Dyer in the area to beat Stekelenburg and spark rapturous Leicester celebrations.
"It was a good game between two sides trying to win it," Pearson said at full-time. "I am probably a bit more relaxed than Martin [Jol] but it was a good night for us.
"You can look at the goals they scored and talk about the possible difference between the Premier League and Championship when it comes to taking chances.
"We have a competitive squad, a squad of players who aspire to be in the Premier League - as do any number of Championship clubs - so let's not get ahead of ourselves. It could have gone either way but we've come out on top."
