COVID-19 spot checks will again be in place at King Power Stadium as part of efforts to minimise the risk of virus transmission, with Leicester City Football Club continuing to monitor developments in relation to conditions of entry for large events.

The Club requests supporters attending matches at King Power Stadium to arrive early due to the COVID-19 certification spot checks and security searches that may be taking place at entry points and as requested in the Club’s Supporter Code of Conduct.

To ensure the safety of everyone in attendance and to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission, the spot checks will ask everyone over the age of 18 to confirm their COVID-19 status by:

- Demonstrating their COVID-19 Pass via the NHS App, PDF or NHS letter;
- Showing proof of a negative lateral flow or PCR test result from within the previous 48 hours; or
- Declaring an exemption from COVID-19 vaccinations and/or testing.

Kelechi Iheanacho
Kelechi Iheanacho

Kelechi Iheanacho hit a stunning strike for Leicester at Turf Moor last season.

The Foxes left Turf Moor with a 1-1 draw back in March as Matěj Vydra's fourth-minute opener was equalised in some style by Kelechi Iheanacho before the interval. The Nigerian hit international team-mate Wilfred Ndidi's forward ball first time on the volley to secure a point for Leicester.

Earlier on last season, on the other hand, Harvey Barnes, James Justin and Dennis Praet found the net, alongside an Erik Pieters own goal, in a 4-2 victory for City at King Power Stadium. Leicester are unbeaten in their last 10 home matches against the Clarets.
