Singing Section Trial Continues For Rennes Visit

The Foxes will host the French side on Thursday 10 March (8pm kick-off), hoping to build an advantage on home soil before the return leg in Brittany seven days later.

Introduced to meet supporter demand on matchdays, the Club has successfully trialled Singing Sections on three occasions in recent seasons – most recently for the FA Cup tie against Watford in January, where the fans and Brendan Rodgers’ side lit up King Power Stadium in a 4-1 win.

Following further positive supporter feedback and consultation with the Club’s Fans’ Consultative Committee, the next stage of the trial will once again take place in SK1 in the South Stand between Rows M to PP; seats 1 to 29 and seats 208-218.

For this latest stage of the trial, the Club would like to give as many like-minded supporters as possible the opportunity to populate this section. Therefore, sales will proceed as follows:

Supporter feedback from previous singing section trials have commended its contribution to the matchday experience, bringing like-minded supporters together to generate noise, colour and an enhancement to the atmosphere in the entire stadium. Supporters wishing to provide further feedback on the Singing Section trials and anything relating to their matchday experience, can do so by emailing lcfchelp@lcfc.co.uk.

Supporters are reminded that persistent standing is prohibited at King Power Stadium and that a Singing Section trial should not be considered an opportunity to persistently stand. Ticket checks will be in place throughout the Singing Section to prevent migration and aisles should be kept clear at all times when not in use to enter or exit the stadium bowl.
