LCFC Women is delighted to confirm the signing of Erin Simon following the end of her contract with National Women's Soccer League outfit Racing Louisville, subject to international and FA clearance.

The 27-year-old makes the switch to Belvoir Drive having spent the last two seasons in the top division of women's football in the United States of America.
A defender by trade, the New Jersey native represented Racing Louisville on 21 occasions last season, 18 of which came at full-back during the expansion club’s second season in the NWSL.
Born on the east coast, Simon began her football career with Syracuse University in 2012, spending three years with Syracuse Orange before transferring to professional outfit Sky Blue FC - now known as Gotham FC.
The former United States Under-23 international makes the transition back to the Barclays Women's Super League having previously spent two years with West Ham United. During her debut season in England, Simon helped the Hammers reach the final of the Vitality Women's FA Cup in 2019.
Simon told LCFC TV: "I am excited to be back in the UK. Everyone here has been incredible so far and very welcoming. I am looking forward to spending more time with my team-mates.
"Lydia has an awesome mindset and a great perspective of the game. I am really excited to be working with her and being a part of this team. This season will see us push to reach higher standards, and we definitely want to climb the table."
Simon has now joined up with her new team-mates at Belvoir Drive to commence pre-season training.
