- LCFC Women will start the 2022/23 WSL season away from home against Everton
- The Foxes are to host Tottenham Hotspur in their first home fixture
- City will end the season away at Brighton & Hove Albion
- All home fixtures are currently scheduled to take place at King Power Stadium

Lydia Bedford’s team – who retained their WSL status during their inaugural top-flight campaign last season – will travel to Walton Hall Park for the opening day clash with the Toffees, with specific matchdays to be agreed between clubs in due course.

The second fixture of LCFC Women’s new season sees a return to home action with the Foxes welcoming Tottenham Hotspur to King Power Stadium on 17 or 18 September before another home fixture against Aston Villa a week later on 24 or 25 September.

Once again, all LCFC Women home fixtures are scheduled to be played at King Power Stadium, with Burton’s Pirelli Stadium to serve as an alternative venue in the event of fixture clashes.

City will close out the year prior to the WSL winter break on December 20 or 21, with Bedford’s team taking on newly-promoted Liverpool away from home, before restarting the engines with the visit of Brighton & Hove Albion on 14 or 15 January.

The final home fixture of the Club's second season in the women's top flight will conclude with the visit of London outfit West Ham United on 20 or 21 May, before the Foxes make the journey to Brighton & Hove Albion for the season finale on 27 or 28 May.

Speaking to LCFC.com, Lydia Bedford said: “Fixture release day is an occasion that everybody connected with football looks forward to. Having retained our Barclays Women’s Super League status last season, the team is excited to compete in the women’s top flight once again this year – myself and the coaching staff included.

“We’re also delighted to again host teams at King Power Stadium, starting with Tottenham Hotspur in our first home game. Last year’s experiences on Filbert Way will live long in the minds of everyone associated with LCFC Women, and the opportunity to create more memories this year gives us all motivation to exceed our own high standards.”

All fixture dates and kick-off times are pending live TV broadcast selections and are subject to change. Clubs will agree specific weekend matchdays in due course. Those changes will be reflected on LCFC.com as soon as they are announced.
