Currently involved in a winter break while the FIFA World Cup captures the attention of the globe, we provide a statistical breakdown of Leicester City's 2022/23 Premier League season so far.

Sitting in 13th position with 17 points, the Foxes have enjoyed a run of four wins in their last five league outings before heading into the festive period.

One of the most impressive of stats comes in the knowledge that Leicester are ranked third in the league for most amount of passes so far this season, totalling 7,559 between the squad. Only Manchester City (9,550) and Liverpool (8,454) have made more. 

English full-back, James Justin has made the most passes for the Foxes, with exactly 1,021 in his 14 Premier League appearances this season, before suffering an Achilles tendon injury during the Newport County victory.

City are also ranked third in the league for clean sheets, having recorded six throughout the season so far, with five of those coming in the last six league fixtures. Only Arsenal and Newcastle United have more with seven. 

Danny Ward's 46 saves have played a vital part in the impressive placing on the leaderboard, however the Welsh 'keeper has been aided by the defensive line ahead of him. Some 268 tackles have been made across the team, which makes for a reputable fifth place out of all 20 clubs.

A fifth goal in as many goals in fixtures against Leeds United in a Leicester City shirt for Harvey Barnes.

With one of the best defensive records in the league, the Foxes also boast a confident scoring record, ranking sixth in the league for goals scored, having found the net on 25 occasions during the 15 matches to date. 

English international James Maddison features in the top 10 of both the goals and assists tables, with seven and four respectively.
