Winks 'Excited For The Challenge'

Harry Winks sits down for his first LCFC interview following confirmation of his move to join the Foxes.

After progressing through Tottenham’s academy, Winks made his senior debut for the club in a UEFA Europa League clash against FK Partizan in November 2014.

He then made his Premier League debut at home to Liverpool in August 2016 before going on to play a further 32 times in all competitions in 2016/17.

His development continued the following season, featuring in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League, with his performances earning him his senior England debut against Lithuania in October 2017.

He later helped Tottenham to the final of the UEFA Champions League in June 2019, starting in the final of the competition against Liverpool in Madrid.

Last season, he joined Sampdoria on loan, featuring on 20 occasions in the Italian top-flight.

Internationally, Winks has represented England up to senior level, earning 10 caps for the Three Lions and scoring his first goal against Kosovo in November 2019.

He will now join his new team-mates in preparation for the Sky Bet Championship campaign, which begins against Coventry City on Sunday 6 August (12pm BST kick-off).
