Following a win for Wout Faes' Belgium on Wednesday evening, four Foxes were in action on Thursday as Harry Souttar, Cesare Casadei and Chris Popov all featured in victories for their countries, while Kelechi Iheanacho's Nigeria drew 1-1 with Lesotho.
Two Leicester players were on the winning side of a 7-0 scoreline today, the first being Souttar as Australia beat Bangladesh in a FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifier - the home side adding another three points to their group stage tally. The towering centre-half opened the scoring just four minutes in as Jamie Maclaren scored a hat-trick with goals in either half for the Socceroos.
Harry Souttar headed home for Australia after just four minutes.
The second Fox to feature in a convincing scoreline was Casadei, who started and played almost an hour in a big win for the Italy Under-21s over San Marino in Group A of the UEFA U21 Championship Qualifiers, where the young Italians sit top with 10 points from four games. Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto scored twice at Stadio Olimpico Di Serravalle.
Elsewhere, striker Iheanacho, who has scored five goals this term in the Sky Bet Championship, captained Nigeria as they took on Lesotho in a FIFA World Cup African Qualifier in the opening game of Group C. Motlomelo Mkwanazi broke the deadlock after 56 minutes for Lesotho, before Semi Ajayi of West Bromwich Albion levelled things up just 10 minutes later to earn a share of the points.

The final Leicester player to feature was Development Squad forward Popov, who was a late substitute for the Wales Under-21s, as they beat Iceland 1-0 at Rodney Parade in Newport, thanks to a goal from Cardiff City's Rubin Colwill. The result puts Wales top of Group I in the UEFA U21 Championship with eight points.
Patson Daka, Abdul Fatawu, along with Danish pairing Mads Hermansen and Jannik Vestergaard all have the chance to feature on Friday's global stage; a full list of the kick-off times can be found HERE.
