'This Is My Dream' - Momiki On LCFC Women Switch

Japan international Yuka Momiki speaks after signing for LCFC Women this January.

A spell with National Women’s Soccer League outfit OL Reign followed in 2020 before she joined Linköping FC on two successive loan spells – eventually making the move permanent for the 2022 campaign.

Momiki brings a wealth of winning experience to Belvoir Drive having won the AFC Women's Club Championship in 2019 and further bolsters the international contingent now representing the Football Club.

Internationally, 2017 saw Momiki selected for the Japanese national team for the first time as her country competed in the Algarve Cup. Her inaugural year competing on the world stage saw the striker return six goals from 21 games.

City’s latest recruit will now link up with her new team-mates at Belvoir Drive as the Foxes continue preparations for the second half of the Barclays Women’s Super League season.
