Leicester City Manager Enzo Maresca has been named as April’s Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month.

It is the fourth time the Italian has won the accolade this season, having also scooped it in August, October and December.
Three straight victories in April against West Bromwich Albion (2-1), Southampton (5-0) and Preston North End (3-0) saw Maresca’s side clinch the Sky Bet Championship title and secure promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Enzo Maresca said: "I am deeply honoured to receive the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award for April. I think it is a sign of the incredible journey we've been on this season as a Football Club. Although it’s an award for the Manager, in truth it belongs to everyone - our staff, our players and our fans.
“To finish such a long and challenging season so strongly and secure not only our promotion, but also the Championship title, has required a huge collective effort and is a success we share with the entire Leicester City family.”
The Foxes are next in action on Saturday (12:30pm kick-off) against Blackburn Rovers for their final game of the 2023/24 campaign, which will see them lift the Sky Bet Championship trophy for a record eighth time.
