Moore Called Up For England Under-20s Squad

Young Leicester City defender Elliott Moore has been called up to the England Under-20s squad for the Toulon Tournament in France later this summer.

Young Leicester City defender Elliott Moore has been called up to the England Under-20s squad for the Toulon Tournament in France later this summer. 

An authoritative centre-back who has captained the Club’s Development Squad this season, Moore’s last appearance for his country came in 2015 when he featured for the Under-18s in a 2-1 defeat by Russia. The Coalville-based defender has since enjoyed another highly impressive season for City. 
 
The 20-year-old scored twice from the back during the 2016/17 campaign to help Steve Beaglehole’s Under-23s side confirm their Premier League 2 Division 1 status for another year while also featuring for the Under-19s during the Club’s maiden UEFA Youth League group stage campaign. 
 
Moore was a part of the Under-18s side who reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup in 2014/15 before also captaining the group which enjoyed success at the HKFC Citi Soccer Sevens last summer. The promising defender will be joined by City team-mate Harvey Barnes in Toulon this summer. 
 
The young Lions will be represented by several age groups, including the Under-18s, Under-19s and Under-20s.
