Choudhury Joins Burton On Loan

- The young Leicester City midfielder could make his debut for the League 1 leaders against Walsall on Saturday, should he be registered in time 

- Choudhury has played a key role for the Development Squad this term Young 

Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury has joined Sky Bet League 1 side Burton Albion on a one-month loan deal. 

The tough-tackling central midfielder was part of the Under-18 side that reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup last term and has gone on to play a major role for the Club’s Development Squad this season. 

Choudhury now heads to Pirelli Stadium – his first loan spell in the Football League – to help Nigel Clough’s side maintain their push for promotion to the Championship. 

The Brewers currently sit four points clear at the top of the League 1 table ahead of their clash with Walsall at Pirelli Stadium on Saturday – a game Choudhury could potentially make his debut in should he be registered in time.
