Barnes, 19, agreed a season-long loan with the Tykes earlier this month and, on his full Sky Bet Championship debut, he scored a brilliant volley during a 3-0 success over Sunderland.

After Chelsea’s Ike Ugbo had given Paul Heckingbottom’s men the lead at Oakwell on Saturday, Barnes pounced to double their advantage before George Moncur added a third.

The Club’s Development Squad Player of the Season, who scored five goals on loan at League 1 outfit MK Dons last term, was later substituted in the 66th minute for Ryan Hedges.

Meanwhile, Moore, 20, capped his second full 90 minutes at Belgian side OH Leuven with his maiden goal for the club in a stunning 8-0 Belgian Cup victory over KFC Turnhout.

Elsewhere, Callum Elder could make his return from suspension when Wigan Athletic face Blackpool in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday evening (7pm kick-off).
