Elliott & Taggart Help Launch The 1884 Club
Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart hosted a Q&A with City trio Wes Morgan, Christian Fuchs and Ben Hamer to help launch the 1884 Club at 45 West Bottle Shop & Bar.
“It’s something that has been in the mindset of the Club, especially for the last couple of seasons,” explained Dan Thomas, Hospitality Manager at Leicester City.
“Looking around tonight, this has given us our chance to engage with our supporters who stay in hospitality.
“This is our way of giving something back and not just relying on them just during the 19 home Premier League matches and a selected amount of cup fixtures.

The event was a success for the LCFC hospitality team.
“As a club, the team spirit we have is demonstrated by players turning up to events like this. It is something we hope to continue over the coming months and years.”
Elliott, who helped Taggart lead a Q&A session with the first team trio, reinforced the idea that City’s bond with their supporters is key to building on the Club’s recent successes.
“First and foremost it develops the connection between the Club and their supporters and box holders. They’ve met the first team players up close and personal,” Elliott told LCFC TV.

Matt Elliott
“Gerry and I are hovering around and making a nuisance of ourselves too. We know what it’s like as ex-players coming into this environment and they were nice and personal.
“It’s 20 years ago that I came to this city and Leicester City Football Club. It’s brilliant to maintain that relationship and I do work for the media, corporate and community sides.
“Whatever involvement they need me for is fine by me.”
