Since joining the Club in the summer of 2014, Albrighton has endeared himself to the Blue Army with countless tireless performances in City colours.

Over the past four years, he’s netted some significant strikes in the Premier League and is the scorer of City’s first-ever UEFA Champions League goal.

Albrighton’s most impressive statistic this term is undoubtedly the amount of goals he has directly set up. He is the third-highest English assist-maker in the Premier League this campaign behind Dele Alli (10 assists) and Raheem Sterling (eight assists) and at club level is surpassed only by Algerian playmaker Riyad Mahrez (eight assists). During a nine-game spell from November to January, he registered five assists for the Club.

Albrighton Strikes At The London Stadium

Marc Albrighton scored his first Premier League goal of the season in November against West Ham United.

Only Harry Maguire (34 appearances) has featured in England’s top flight for City more times than Albrighton in 2017/18. He has been involved in all but one of their 34 Premier League fixtures – this month’s trip to Burnley – and is regarded as one of the most consistent performers in the Leicester squad.

He has directly set up his City team-mates on seven separate occasions this season.

His heavy involvement for City means he sees plenty of the ball and has therefore made the fifth-most passes this campaign. Wilfred Ndidi (1,653 passes) tops the rankings for the Foxes, while Maguire (1,566 passes), Mahrez (1,152 passes) and Kasper Schmeichel (1,032 passes) complete the top four.

Marc Albrighton has made the third-highest amount of tackles for Leicester City in the Premier League this season.

Another key feature of Albrighton’s game is his adaptiveness and that has again been evident this season. Primarily a winger, he has also taken up a role in defence on a number of occasions and therefore has completed 47 tackles for the Foxes. Only the Premier League’s top tackler Ndidi (135 tackles) and centre back Maguire (51 tackles) have made more.
